In 2013, Speedo began work on building a dedicated brand site to sit separately from its e-commerce store. I was brought in as the sole copywriter for the huge project, which involved writing all content for launch.
From athlete profiles, landing page copy, video descriptions, and in-depth technology pages (Fastskin, IQfit™, Sculpture, etc) to dropdown menus, titles, and meta details, I wrote new and unique copy that covered the entire Speedo site.
I also repurposed existing features and wrote a bank of new, inspirational swimming technique, fitness and lifestyle features for the News, Tips and Advice section.
In addition to the Speedo brand site, the project included writing content for Speedo’s then soon-to-be-launched corporate website, www.insidespeedo.com, covering everything from Speedo career information to the brand’s position on the environment, ethical trade, and CSR.
